Norwegian language Course
Introduction to Norwegian culture, history and way of life
Intercultural communication and understanding in a global world.
Norwegian Language
You will be given a 400 hour course in the Norwegian language. Together with students from all over the world you will, through classroom activities (conversation – reading – writing), excursions and self-study, gain practical command of the Norwegian language.
Norwegian culture, history and way of life
You will also gain insight into Norwegian way of life, manner and mentality. You will also get insight into Norwegian history and politics. In order to understand Norwegian culture and way of life, we use the opportunities that Oslo has to offer, visiting different political, cultural and religious institutions.
Intercultural communication and understanding
Teaching will be given in intercultural communication and understanding in a global world.
Emphasis will be given to the cultural background of the international students and their countries in the class.
General
As an international student you will get the opportunity to participate in various activities and programs together with Norwegian students both inside and outside Rønningen. This gives you a unique chance to develop intercultural communication skills and gain understanding of Norwegian language and culture.
